#How Are You? Get Involved!

GUYS. Check out this awesome blog post RIGHT. NOW. Thanks! Have a great day!

A Light In The Darkness

How are you?

Simple question, right? One you’ll hear pretty much everyday, probably several times. I’m sure you’ll have your automatic answer all lined up.  Something along the lines of ‘Fine, thanks’ or ‘I’m okay’ or ‘Good’ or whatever. You say it without even thinking.

What happens if you do think about it though? What happens if you pause before you answer and ask yourself how you really are? Would your answer be different?

So I’m asking you – how are you?

Be creative, be thoughtful, but most importantly, be honest.

Now, if you think this is great, please get involved by either sharing this post or writing your own, spread this around the blogosphere, encourage people to be open and honest, show people how to care about each other! We can do this, guys!

      5. Thank you for asking, Kaylyn. I’m busy with schoolwork and it’s very easy to feel overwhelmed, but I think I’m keeping on top of it. Also, I have the rehearsals for a big spoken word poetry performance tomorrow so I’m pretty excited and nervous for that. 🤗 Hugs!

      6. No problem! Yeah, I am really busy with school too. I am going to be even more busy with school next year since I am going to be on online public school. I am going to be in middle school next year! Yay! Yeah, I know you will do great! Ugh, I hate doing speeches and stuff like that. My face gets all red, and I don’t know what to say. You will do great! Hugs!

      7. That’s cool! Are you looking forward to it? Wow! Middle school? I seriously thought you were a lot older! You seem very mature. It’s spoken word poetry. I don’t know if you’ve heard of that? It’s like an urban spin on poetry, very cool. I love it (even though I am the complete opposite of the word urban!) Thanks for your support! I’ll definitely be posting about how it goes. Xxx

      8. Thanks! Yes, I am! Yeah, I get that a lot for some reason. Like you said, maybe it’s because I act mature. Thank you! I actually haven’t heard of that. Oh, OK. Yeah, my family and I live in the country, and we don’t like going to big cities. My pleasure! OK, great! Have a great day!

      9. Urgh, big cities are horrible! Farm girls forever! Actually, my performance and rehearsals are in London and I really dislike all the noise and filth and concrete and, well, everything! You have a great day too!

      10. I know! The only reason I want to go to a big city is because of the AG stores they have there. XD YES!!!! Farm girls forever!!! Wait, you live in London? Yeah, I actually have never been to London.

      11. Really? Do you have AG dolls? Yeah, they really are! You can get your dolls’ hair done there, shop, eat, etc. Yeah, I live in the US.

      12. Actually really good except for the fact that I’m stressing out about my rehearsal a bit. I have to take my best work and I had everything sorted, but now I’m having second thoughts and trying to write something last minute, but it isn’t really working out so…..

      13. OK, I am so sorry that you have to do your rehearsal thing. Yeah, how many people do you have to do it in front of? Ugh, that does not sound like fun. I am praying for you!

      14. I’m actually really looking forward to it since I absolutely love the poetry. I just am a bit stressed out as I’ve never performed in front of people before and I want to take my best work and everyone else there is so talented. I don’t know how many, it’s a public event so anyone can buy tickets and come. At the rehearsals though maybe 16? I really appreciate your prayers, Kaylyn!

      15. Really? I love poetry too. I am not good at reading it, but I love listening to it. Yeah, I have never performed to anyone except my parents. Yeah. Wow, ANYONE can come??? OK. No problem!

      16. Wow! I am great! I am eating candy. XD Are you giving your speech today? Also, I have to write a story for my school. I had to look at a picture, and make a story out of it. Do you have a contact page? If so, I can email you the story that I come up with.

      17. Hehe! Lucky youuuu! I just baked a flapjack. No, tomorrow… so I have a little while to get over my nerves lol. That sounds really cool! Yeah, the page is called ‘Wanna Talk?’ Please do send it!

      18. Haha, thanks! Uh, what is a flapjack? OK. I always find that taking deep breaths and taking my mind off of what makes me nervous helps. OK. I will! I once had to get school immunizations, and I was super nervous. Once I took deep breaths and took my mind off of it, I was fine!
